Pian Sciresa, located on the eastern slopes of Monte Barro in Malgrate, is a large karst plateau nestled in a pine forest of Scots and black pines. Easily accessible with a short walk from via Pian Sciresa, it offers a magnificent viewpoint over Lake Lecco, the Resegone, and the Grigne.

Monte Barro, 922 meters high, is an isolated mountain in the Lombard Prealps, located between the lakes of Annone, Garlate and the Lecco branch of Lake Como. It is entirely included in the Monte Barro Regional Park (https://www.parcobarro.lombardia.it/). The Monte Barro Hermitage, located at 750 meters altitude, is the heart of the park and offers accommodation services for hikers and visitors.

Mount San Martino, about 1,087 meters high, rises imposingly above the city of Lecco, offering breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It is known for its steep and panoramic trails, highly appreciated by experienced hikers. Its south face is also frequented by climbing enthusiasts.

Mount Resegone is a mountain in the Lombard Prealps, 1,875 meters high, located between the provinces of Lecco and Bergamo. It owes its name to the characteristic jagged ridge that resembles a saw (in dialect “resegà”). A beloved destination for hikers, it offers spectacular views of Lake Lecco and the Alps.

The Grigne are a mountain range in the Lombard Prealps, located between Lecco and Valsassina, with the highest peak, the Northern Grigna (Grignone), reaching 2,410 meters. Characterized by spectacular limestone spires and rocky landscapes, they are much loved by hikers and mountaineers. They offer breathtaking views of Lake Como, the Alps, and the Po Valley.
